Boustrophedon

Method of writing in both directions is called boustrophedon . Ancient script such as, Indus script is found to be boustrophedon in nature for instance. This style is also followed by ancient Greek, Hittite, and luwian scripts. The benefit of this style is writing allows the writer to continue without moving the writing instruments from far right or left side of the writing surface.
